Tenax fasteners

I never liked the tarnished look of the original nickel plated fasteners and happened to stumble across these chrome ones on the internet. They're not identical to OEM but they are the exact same size and they look like little jewels along the edge of the tonneau cover. Even though the tonneau is real canvas the snaps make it look much nicer.

Those are the German Tenax fasteners used on Porsche.

FYI, not all Tenax fasteners are the same. I have a 1995 Miata and it uses Tenax fasteners for the top cover and tonneau. They are not the same as the British Tenax although they are made by the same company....Tenax. The differences can be very slight but enough that your snaps may not connect properly. Check out the Tenax website and you can learn a lot.
