I am looking for a source for Tenax fasteners where the male fitting (post/stud) is threaded to be used in sheet metal. I have found a number of listings on Amazon but all of the posts/studs are threaded for use in wood. TIA.

They evidently only come in wood screw and machine screw - what we'd like, SS sheet metal screw doesn't seem to exist.
The brass wood-screw Tenax studs are pretty fragile. I broke one or two of them trying to thread them into the shroud when I deleted my padded dash.
Finally bought the machine-screw studs and tapped a 10-32 hole. All are nickel-plated brass. Don't buy the German ones - they're different from the British ones we use and not interchangeable.
British suppliers on Ebay have longer 5/8" and 1" machine studs:
