Hello All.
A few weeks ago I installed a third ZS carburetor on my '72 Tr6. There were many problems, especially with the alignment of the three throttle shafts. Mostly caused by the isolator spacers being un-parallel back to front. I've gotten that all fixed, along side fixing bad throttle bushings on the donor carb. But now I'm looking at a condition that seems lean after the car gets warmed up. Runs like a bat out of heck, but when she's getting hot, starts a slight miss and cough. I'm pretty sure this is most likely the temp compensators either opening early, or not synchronized between each other. If anyone has a good method to syncing these to open at the correct temp, I'd like to know. I hear they should start opening at roughly 140°F. I live in a pretty hot location. Not sure that matters or not.
