Anyone see the picture and brief mention of the Team Sprite bugeye in the Auction Action section of the current issue?

Kind of your 15 words of fame - but you are in print with a picture as well!! It is page 37 if you want to look and is listed as "our favorite sale" and "well worth the money." Congratulations!

..a better write up than the Hemi 'Cuda convertible that sold for $2.4 mill by the way!

Can you believe that! I hated those things when they came out, I had a pretty fast (and very dangerous) Chevy/T roadster, and a kid's dad bought him one..poof...lost my turf.

Linda and I send in articles to Grassroots magazine on a regular basis (Grassroots is the sister magazine of Classic Motorsports).

When we sent in ~Our Last Article~ to Joe Gearin, we mentioned the Team Sprite project to him and said it might be good for CM.

I also mentioned it ~HERE~ .

Not sure if our input had any affect, but I hope so. You and your kids did a great job and deserve a lot more than 15 minutes of fame! I wish you continued success!

You know what is the best part of this for us old folks. We were part of the team, that's a good feeling.

I guess we are still part of the team, what's next?

The article really did feature the car and yur accompishment, congrats!!!!!!!!!! Also, this is a great mag. One of the feature writers, Levi, is an awsome gent who is famous for figuring ways to race friends cars, and when you met the man, he really becomes a friend. Also, there is quite a long article featuring our own Hap and a former race car of his. If you might be thinking about a subscription, you could spend your money in worse places.

Soon as my current junk car subscriptions run out this is for me. I like to see friends in print and of course the vintage Brit cars are a plus, hehe.

I just got copies of the new Austin Healey Magazine today, man, that is a kick to see that cover. Gary did a really nice job! Andy Reid from Classic Motorsports came by during the RM preview, I think they are going to do something other than the 'auction auction.' He's really a great guy.
