Team BCF up-date!

Just another detail on the continuing adventure. If you've been following the blog, you already know some recent "minor delays".

After finally receiving and installing the correct giubo flange, which eliminated all the acceleration/deceleration vibration, I decided to replace the front wheel brake cylinders. The ones on the car were mismatched: left front wheel had a completely incorrect brake unit. Ordered the new cylinders, which arrived three days later. Opened the boxes, and found one cylinder was incorrect. Sent it back for replacement, and paid for overnight delivery.

Delivery company lost the shipment.

Ordered again. Cylinder arrived yesterday (Saturday).

Once I get all four cylinders replaced, I've got some road testing to do. Due to this new surprise, minor changes in my route are likely - I have to be back in Connecticut by the last week in October.

As I've said before - when men make plans, the gods just laugh.

Stay tuned - and thanks again for the support and patience!
Tom
