T-Series TD Oil Filter Element -- Paper or Felt?

Hi! A real newbie question...Moss lists two available oil filter elements for my '52 TD:

435-350 ELEMENT, oil filter (felt)
435-355 ELEMENT, oil filter (paper)

The felt filter element is about twice the price of the paper. In the absence of other advice, I'd probably assume "you get what you pay for" and go with the felt element.

Can anyone help me with the pros/cons of felt vs. paper so that I can make a more informed decision?

Also: Are there any other parts that should be replaced along with the filter element?

The felt type oil filter is the "original" vintage oil filter element. Oil filters where a relatively new item when your car was built, many '30s vintage car were not equipped with oil filtration, you merely changed the oil. The paper element filter is the more modern as most spin on oil filters contain paper elements. Before I changed to a spin on oil filter on my TF, I used paper cartridge filters from NAPA. As I recall the filter number was "1700".

IMO the paper element will perform better by filtering smaller contaminates from the oil and providing more surface area to do the filtering.
