T-Series TD carbs

To my knowledge, there are three different types of pistons in our carbs, early type, Brass no springs, then Aluminum weighted, no springs, bare Aluminum as in later carbs, have return springs. I don't know what years the carbs pistons were changed. Just make sure when you pull them apart to keep the same pistons and chambers together. PJ

same here, spoke with j curto su rebuilder and 52 td, no springs. supposed local expert put springs on them and it slowed opening and sped up closing, of pistons. pistons were weighted to react correctly, without springs. if in doubt, contact j curto.
