I should have asked this question at the same time as asking about torquing the head bolts (silly wombats aren't very good at thinking ahead

What are the cold tappet clearances for a TC2500?

Hello Wombat,

the cold clearance is 0.010" inlet and exhaust.
You can use the thirteen rule but Triumph issue this table:-

Valves 10 & 12 fully open adjust 1 & 3
2 & 5 " " " 8 & 11
7 & 9 " " " 4 & 6
1 & 3 " " " 10 & 12
8 & 11 " " " 2 & 5
4 & 6 " " " 7 & 9
