Anybody seen a show on the Military Channel called Tank Overhaul? Just watched an episode dealing with rebuilding a German Panther that had been recovered from a river in Poland. A complete rusty mess that they rebuilt into a working tank. If they could rebuild that thing just think how many MG's they could save.

Perhaps they figured that the tank was worth saving.
Now MGs on the other hand...
