I have a rebuilt tandem master and brake lines are in place. Is it possible to bleed the brakes before the slave cylinder and line are in place? Or do they all need to hooked up first?

Thanks Hap. I just didn't want brake fluid suirting up all over the new paint job before I attached the slave line.

THanks again

Dot 3 or 4 is going to work fine.

Many of us use Castrol GT LMA Fluid, I'm pretty sure it's rated for DOT 3 & 4.
