Don't forget the Swap Meet / Auction / Shine and Show this Saturday, October 7th, at Jerry Wise's warehouses on Hwy 159 in Havana.
The North Florida British Motoring Club (NFBMC) is hosting a British Car and Motorcycle Swap Meet and Auction on the 7th of October. All British car and motorcycle owners and enthusiasts are invited to join.
Members of the NFBMC will have their own cars polished and available for viewing.
There will be food and drinks to purchase.
The swap meet / auction will take place at the garage/warehouse of Jerry Wise. It is located on Hwy 159 in Gadsden County (near the intersection of Hwy 159 and Hwy 270). Activities will begin at 10:00 a.m.and end at 2:00 p.m. The auction will start about 11:30 a.m.
DIRECTIONS:
From Lake Jackson Publix (at the intersection of hwy 27 and Old Bainbridge Road) continue north on sr 27 across double bridges into Gadsden County , then take the first left which is Shady Rest Rd or sr 270. Then drive 2.5 miles on 270 until reaching a left turn on to 159. The warehouse is about one quarter of a mile further on the left.
From I-10 exit #192 (hwy 90) continue north/northwest toward Midway/Quincy. At the Midway 'town center' turn right on to 159 and continue on 159 until you see the warehouse on the right. You have gone to far if you reach the end of 159, where it dead ends into 270. Turn around and go back about one quarter mile.
Participants are asked to bring their own folding chairs, tables, tarps or any other material needed to display items they will be swapping.
REGISTRATION ON SITE: There is no registration cost, but we ask that each participant donate at least one item to be auctioned off during the day. For example, one person will be donating a new welding cart for auction. However, auction items can be household items and are not limited to auto parts or tools.
Vendors are welcome! If you are a vendor we hope you will participate in this event. And if you know of a vendor who would be a good addition to this event, please pass the information on to them.
Please pass this information on to all of our other British car clubs in the area. The more, the merrier.
If you have questions please contact Stuart @ 875-2511or Charlie @ 530-1104.
