Taking out the engine

Hi all,

I'm about to take out the engine to have it revised. After that I have to disassemble other parts so I can have the chassis sandblasted.

But I have my doubts of what is the best order:

1. taking out the engine and after that remove the front springs
or
2. first remove the front springs and after that taking out the engine

Thanks for your help.
Regards
Henry

I'd take out the engine first, then the springs. If you're planning on removing the transmission, too, I've found it easier to remove it together with the engine.

Ditto Healey Rick -

Motor & trans out first, then break everything else down.
