taking delivery - 61 bug eye

Just back from a long drive down sunset blvd and up the PCH a ways... what a fantastic, great_sounding, slow, agile and skittish fun-mobile.

first things to fix:

- after a long run pulling up to a red light, idle sticks around 2K unless i blip the throttle, then it comes down to normal.

- brakes pulsate a bit at what seems like slow speeds. some of it may have worked out but we'll see.

- oh and the horn doesn't work, which feels scary in that little bug eye...

FUN!

WOW!!!
Beautiful car!

Looks VERY nice...

OK details: Completely stock? Original colour/trim? Etc?

Nice car, congrats again. Looks like you found a good one. (Nice Ducati, too!). Thanks for the pics.

Realy nice, you've missed alot of the things that we have had to do to our cars to get them somewhere as nice as yours. Which engine and tranny do you have. It doesn't look like you have a heat sheild for the carbs. Although you have a great car, your journey of ownership has just begun. Enjoy, it's really fun and the Forum is a great place for info.
