Hi all,

I'm at home from the office this moring waiting for DAS to drop by with my new to me 61 bug eye.

It's a full restoration. Will be interesting in peicing together the history of the car, details and pictures to follow.

And, welcome! This is a fine group. I'm continually pleased to see how helpful and knowledgeable this gang is. I've learned quite a lot here.
 
Of course the delivery was late! Inspected & rolled off the truck, checked fluids, pulled the starter button, two loops around the block, parked in the garage(where i spent last weekend making room) then mad dash to the office. Will try and get some pics online tonight.

Happy lil thing that bug eye.

I think the members are asking for ... dare I say it ... pictures.

We have some very volatile characters on this board, I think you need to give serious consideration to fulfilling their deep and abiding need for pictures.

I dread to think what otherwise might transpire...

I brought mine home on a Sunday evening (3-day drive to San Diego and back) and then had to leave town for 3 days. I can feel your pain -- hard to concentrate at work when you've got a new friend at home!
 
When I brought mine home, I drove just slightly over 3 miles.
 
I saw those, beautiful she is. For goodness sake get those bikes away from her. hehe.
 
Very nice and clean. Much cleaner under the bonnet than ncbugeye. Clearly I have work to do...

I like the matching red dash...
