Tail of the Dragon

Hi to all,
I usually hang out on the Healey forum, but a friend of mine asked if I knew when the Lotus trip to the Tail of the Dragon in NC is scheduled and I figured this would be a good place to find out. He has a Super 7 by Caterham and wants to attend the event. Information is appreciated!

Apparently the 7-7-7 event at TotD was a great success for American Lotus/Caterham/Locost guys....but it was also a pretty complex ordeal for the organizers. It was an especially neat deal due to the date (7-7-7) but also due to the 50th anniversary of Lotus.


I was reading on the USA7s forum a while back and someone mentioned that they might do that again in the future, but it didn't sound likely in '08.

Maybe they'll do it again in 2107.

There's a couple of Se7en guys in our race club. I'll see if anyone has any updates on this.

Thanks! My friend with the Super 7 was hoping to meet more Lotus owners during an outing in that area. Is there any web site that lists Lotus gatherings or events?

it sounds like the next Seven event is in Branson, Missouri, I am not sure if a date is set yet (too far for me to take my Seven, so not paying too much attention), but it will be in 09

There is a Lotus Owners Gathering (LOG) at Indianapolis this year July 31 - August 4, it is for all Lotus

The Seven forum is www.usa7s.com and includes all brands of Sevens, or Se7ens if you will

https://www.simplesevens.org/ is just for classic Lotus Sevens

There are several Lotus forums, www.lotustalk.com, www.lotusbuzz.com, not sure of the others off the top of my head
