MGB Tachometer 65 mgb

Any suggestions as to fixing the tach on 1965 mgb. It just quit while driving and is not working.

Eggsy - you mean the needle doesn't move at all?

Sounds like a broken or disconnected (or frozen) cable, either at the tach, or under the car.

This depends on if you have a cable drive or electric tacho.
If cable driven, the cable starts near the dizzy. If electric, it is pulse driven off of the dizzy/coil.

check you wiring on the white wire for power. There is a loop around a block at the back and be sure the nut is tight.
