Tach Drive Generator

I'm sure this is against a rule somewhere so forgive me.

Someone recently in the Spridget forum was dealing with a tach-drive generator that died and they were looking for a replacement. I saw one for sale on eBay and thought I'd post the item number here for those who may need one. This appears to be NOS, not used.

See eBay and look for item 180351001115.

EDIT: BTW, the listing says the seller has 10 available.

Wil that thing work?

I recently sent mine out to get rebuilt. I was told the bill will be about $125 when it comes back.

Looks like there might be a worm gear on the output for the tach connection. I wonder if the ratio is OK for use with the standard tachometer? Or if it's close enough that you could just use a slightly larger or smaller pulley to get it right? In any case, I suspect you'd need to make some modifications so the cable would fit.
