I think Tabasco Sauce (made just 25 miles from my home at Avery Island) is pretty much everywhere in the world.
My son just returned from Borneo. He took a side trip to Komodo Island (home of the Komodo Dragons), in the middle of nowhere, ate at the only restaurant on the island, and they had Tabasco Sauce.
In 1970, I ate at a Russian restaurant in Madrid, Spain, in the middle of the cold war. No one spoke English, but they did have Tabasco Sauce on the table. After 4 Stolichnaya vodkas, I no longer spoke English.
