i'm reckonin' the cabinet is the "glove box"... as that's the only thing that I can think of that remotely resembles a cabinet in a car...

I'm sure there are other places you can try for these parts, but I'm unfamiliar with the European resources for classic car parts.

yep...the third switch away from the iggy would be the heater fan switch...it had a little fan that might look like a star to some on it. The old toggle switches helped earn Lucus the nickname "Prince of Darkness" as they failed rather consistently! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Third switch from the ignition on a MK I would be a Lucas toggle. I think Nunyas nailed it... heater knobs.
This is a late MK I so it has the push-pull ight switch and has swapped its place with the washer push, but the rest is the same as the earlier MK I. I don't have a good photo of my early MK I dash.

yeah... I do... heh. Although, my heater temp knob seems to not adjust the heater valve through its full range of motion, and the def/interior knob doesn't seem to adjust anything at all. Still, I need it to help defog my windshield on those rainy days... and on those cold 50F mornings... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
