I guess it would only be fitting to show the Datsun 5 speed that goes with it.

That's come together nicely, Hap. Interesting all the little differences from the standard inline motors.

I really like the look of the unpainted bolts and such. Very classy.

I like your engine stand mount.

That's one of those late model Copper S heads ( big intake, normnal 1.16" exhaust) they don't have a water pump by pass hose orfice on them. You can get a non by pass water pump for them , but they want extra $$$$ for them, so we just tap the by pass hole 3/8" on a regiualr water pump and put bolt and copper crush washer in there instead, same set we use on the race cars, we plug the by pass hole in the head, and then use the bolt on the water pump deal.

I love that color! lol!

I thought you would like that

No oil cooler, it would be a somewhat creative job to do, I gues they make a oil filter snadwick pice to do one, surely that is available for the Mini, Maestro guys in the UK.

That turned out real nice Hap. It doesn't look anything like it did when you first posted pictures of it. I love the pulley/dampener.

The A+ was only in the lower end Maestros for the first couple of years of production. I doubt there is much developed just for that version of the engine. A generic sandwich plate sounds like the quickest way to add an oil cooler if necessary.

Looks good Hap, what is he putting it in? I hope he en"joy"s it.
