Well I have a few hundred miles now on the TR3 and am working out some of the bugs The new dizzy works great Lots of power but now that I am more comfortable with the car that some thing won't fall off, I was wondering what you guys think about sway bars? Front? Back? or both? or none?
Dan

Sway bar -- Yes!
I put one in the front and added a leaf to the rear springs for some more stiffness there. It made a huge -- and beneficial -- difference.

By the way, the common wisdom is front, or front and rear. NEVER rear only. Rear only will induce dangerous handling quirks.

I have front an rear.
Thick front and a common rear. Leaf springs are stock and front springs are stock.

No swaybars:

Putting a sway bar on the front of a tr3 is a real challenge. The kits available use the bumper braces for a mounting point. This is fine if having your bumper twist 2 inches when you go into a turn is cool. What has to be done is to make up a brace to go from the bar to the steering box on the left and the idler on the right, this triangulates the loads to the frame and while not too hard to do leaves one to wonder why its not in the kit??
