Sway bar question.

Does any one have the sway bar bushing bracket on hand that could measure the center to center spacing of the mounting holes.

You mean the actual holes in the chassis for the mounting brackets?

For you, Vinnie, I have braved the fierce conditions of a pre-dawn Florida morning, went down on me back on a concrete driveway and actually measured... They're 2.50" center to center.

Anything for a brother with a limp living in a New York winter. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Thanks Doc. Limp is getting better but still some "weirdness" going on. 2.5" Excellent. I'm crafting a set of solid aluiminum mounting blocks for a 3/4" sway bar.

Feirce eh /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif In the 30's and raining here this AM. Lovely weather I tell ya.

Vince, 30's & rain over here on the west coast too.
Hope you will share pics of this.

Hello Vping,

out of interest you might look at what I fitted to my Triumph when I added an anti roll bar to it.

These are industrial pipe clamps, made of very high density plastic with steel base and top clamp. Mine has shown no appreciable wear after several years, they come in a variety of sizes and are very economic.

That's basically what I am making but in 3/4" Aluminum. I'l post a pic when I am through.
