Sway bar installation

Hello all - New to the forum here. I didn't see this posted on the Spridget forum and forgive me if it is and I missed it. Was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of installing a sway bar on a Sprite. I have a 66 Sprite and picked up a good used swaybar and need to still get some small bits to complete everything. If anyone has a link or video that would show how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help !

Pretty simple to bolt on as long as wishbones are already drilled. Will need to use a tap to clean up the mounting holes on underside of frame rails.

Thanks Jim- Do you happen to know what size tap is needed on the frame rails ? ( wishbones are drilled )

Mike take a call to MOSS Tech Support. The bolts are listed in the Catalog.

They will handle a stock sway bar nicely but if it's a large sway bar the front frame horn's need reinforced. I assume you are talking stock of, I think, 5/8" diameter.

Kurt.

No that's not the size that bolts the brackets to the frame rails on the bottom side. More like 3/8 or 5/16 and NF thread I believe.

Zippy and I are talking about the diameter of the sway bar, Jim. I agree with you on the bolts to attach to frame size. Again, guessing 5/16NF.

Never mind not fully reading the question
