Sway bar bushing question

You can use poly mounts for a 3/4" bar, just get the correct size bushings. As to using aluminum mounts, the hardness of the mount affects the response of the bar, the softer the mount the more deflection in the mount before the bar starts to act on the chassis. Racers use solid mounts so that they know exactly how the bar will respond. Most cars use rubber for a softer more compliant ride. Poly is a good compromise, some compliance and not to much deflection before the bar starts working. If you use the grease that comes with the bushings you shouldn't need mounts with fittings. I've had poly bushings on my car for years now without any lubrication problem.

x2 on the 'no lube fitting'. I'm not quite sure why some users complain of urethane 'squeaking' but I've never had a problem, even when installed dry (when recommended by the manufacturer.)
