I have a BJ8 with a radio but I never really use it, but what if I wanted to, with unsuppressed wires it would wine unbearably. So if I am supposed to have copper core wires which offer no suppression, I have to use a hard plastic suppressed cap which from my understanding are destine to fail and should not be used. Is there a non hard plastic suppressed cap or any suppressed cap which can be trusted is isn't pre-engineered to fail?

Well CC, it seems if "I never use it" you do not know if it will be affected or not. So try it first. If the radio is an old AM only type it may be affected. However, the more modern FM units are less prone to be. Yes there are good Suppressed Spark Plug connectors available Made by Bosch and used extensively on the 1960-to-1973 Volvo cars. I have a couple, could you direct me to a PN or a specific vehicle range if you have one? the Radio is the original motorola unit so I feel like it will probably whine pretty heavily. Thanks for the help!
EDIT: a "Bosch 0 356 100 022" seems to be the spark plug connector most widely used in that period Volvo's can you confirm? know any sources?
