This note came from a guy I know via vintage racing. He works in a race shop out in the Hamptons on the far end of Long Island. It may be a good deal, but I know nothing else about it, so I figured I'd just pass it on and you guys can contact him directly if you're interested (I tried checking the Facebook site listed but you have to "join" and I have no interest in doing that):Someone by me is selling 2 Bug Eye Sprites with 3 motors and 3 transmissions
they were in dry storage but the guy lost his storage and are sitting outside and getting surface rust on them
they are all dismantled but the under sides look good He is asking $3500 but needs them gone soon
I do not know the guy but went and looked at them yesterday It seems like a decent deal if anyone is interested
