I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Barry Knickerbocker and I am the North American importer for Superlite Wheels. For those not familiar with the brand, they are classic eight spoke wheels, styled like Minilites. Superlites are made in Australia by Performance Industries, a 30 year old ISO9002 manufacturer. We offer fitments for most classic styled vehicles. Those are nice looking wheels, wonder what they look like on a bugeye. Hmmm, awful modern for a bugeye I think maybe. But I do like em and the price is not bad either. In fact preaty darn good.

I was just curious about his relationship with Hap - that was one of those "if you want a fresh drink of water, go to the head of the stream" type question.
 
Yes, we are committed to providing knockoffs. We are load testing the complete line currently. I am hoping that they will be available in May.
 
Hi, I'm a litle late on this thread, as it's been awhile since I have visited. Barry is the distributor for Superlite wheels in the US, Barry has also supported our racing. Barry and I are good buddies and work together on many Spridget projects together. Barry has did a great job bringing us great wheels at great price. I have Superlite wheels on my MG Midget race car and soon will also have a set on my 1967 MGB GT when the new knock offs arrive. I'm a dealer through Barry for Superlite wheels and can tell you first hand I have put them to the test. Barry has did us all a great favor by importing these wheels to US for our cars. I'm very proud to be affiliated with Barry and Superlite wheels.

And on a sidenote, anyone on the fence about knock off wheels, the Superlite knock offs should be available in a couple of months are very unique in how they mount the spline adapter, a very clean look for sure.
