superchargers for austin healeys

Thanks for sharing that picture, That bemmer engine is really a neat package in that tr6... granted, It takes away from the soul of the car but it shows what can be done! I still think many people would strongly consider supercharging there Austin healey if a decent unit where out there and worth the trouble. I really dont think it would take away from the value of the healey because it could be reversed if desired.

Perhaps you should just install some M power into a Healey

Rich Grauman and Udo Putzke in SoCal are each in the process of doing just that with what will be BMW-Healeys.

richbermanDoesn't Steve Pike's 100S Streamliner have a supercharger in it?...My calender says that is what failed him at his salt flats run.[/quote said:
The supercharger in the Streamliner is in front of the engine and in line with and driven by the crankshaft.
Yep... The coupling between the two failed at Bonneville.

(I recently want to a track and saw this one.

It is an Eaton supercharger from a Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe. The owner said that the fabrication and installation was incredibly easy (2 flat plates) and that the car runs MUCH better.

It might work on a 100-4.

cant see the photos of it ;-(
