I love love love the Snipes - think they are way under rated and way under valued. But, you mother was right

Yes, she was.

I got to ride in a pretty nice Super Snipe one year at the BMTA confernce in Dallas, it belonged to Kip at Kips Motors.

Don't want to hijack this thread but this would be one of those times being bored and broke is a bad thing. There are some very interesting cars on Ebay right now in addition to the Snipe.

BSA - can't be a lot of these left and the Buy it Now seems reasonable https://tinyurl.com/39gfay2

Daimler - BIG bucks but sure would be unique
https://tinyurl.com/35qhetq

Anglia Pick up - sweet!
https://tinyurl.com/3a9oek8

Singer https://tinyurl.com/38tht4u

A little odd when a Riley is one of the more common https://tinyurl.com/2wpl64u

Another (cheaper) Daimler https://tinyurl.com/3yfzn9j

Vauxhall wagon - big project https://tinyurl.com/3ymbzcl

and even though "just" an MG, I would buy this https://tinyurl.com/32f3c8d

And, I didn't even post the Sunbeams etc.

cheers

You know Kip? Who don’t you know? Kip is a nice guy met him at the All Brit Show this spring. I just met Dennis Gage at a party a couple of weekends ago the back story about him is pretty neat. He is also a very good guy truly loves cars. There where all kinds at the party there was tons to see and talk about. Penske Tanker Vette and a Boyd Codington High boy were where there incredible craftsmanship

When I lived in Anchorage my friend and I bought a Humber Super Snipe.
This was, I believe 1985.
There was something wrong with the motor, we found it was very hard to source parts in Anchorage in the age before the Internet.
We sold it off quick & cheap.
It was a TANK of a car, navy blue and in pretty nice condition body & interior.
