Desperately looking for some information. My grandmothers 1959 Humber super Snipe Series I (Canadian - Late 1958 production making it officially a 1959 Series I) has been passed down from her to my uncle, then to my brother (deceased) and now it is going to my sister and her husband for restoration. Problem is that it is in Colorado and she is in Washington and I am in Italy and am the family expert on this car...
But seeing as how I am now far, far away, I cannot accurately measure the lug pattern myself to tell my sister what size wheels she needs to find with used tires to swap when she gets to Colorado to tow this thing back to Washington. My brother and I moved it from Washington to Colorado in the 80's and it still had the original tires on it. Needless to say, they no longer hold air. Nowhere in the shop manual or the owner’s manual can I find the lug pattern. I have found 2 answers online but do not know which is correct. 5 on 4.5 and 5 on 5. My sister-in-law measured and came up with 125mm across the lug pattern and 75mm between adjacent studs leading me to believe it is 5 on 5 but I really want to find owner of same make and model to confirm. Are any of you out there knowledgeable about this measurement? Any accurate help would be greatly appreciated. If it was a 5" pattern then this should be the measurements but she came up with almost exacly the right distance between adjacent studs but is about 5mm off across the lug pattern. I am going to assume that the 125mm is in error and the 75mm is closer to the real deal.
