Sunfast vs. Vinyl?

Are you speaking about the convertible top? I bought vinyl because it's half the price and easier to take care of. Canvas looks nicer but how often is the top going to be up in CA anyway?

I have vinyl. Love the looks of the cloth tops, but Steve is right, they're half the cost and very easy to care for. And since my top is up Dec, Jan & Feb only, it's really not an issue for me.

I really like the looks of the Sunfast tops, and would get one if I didn't have to worry about budgets... So, when I finally get around to replacing the rats nest of a top I have it'll be vinyl... for the shear economy of it.

I currently have a sunfast top. It's lasted a long long time. It was installed sometime in the early 80's basicly the limit of childhood memories for me. It's at the end of its life now as a lot of the stitching is now starting to pull out. When I do replace the top with another sunfast as I do really like the look and the distance this one has gone. That being said though I have no intensions of reinstalling the top anytime soon back into the B. I cant see myself driving her out in the rain especialy with the way the idiots drive in LA when it just sprinkels. Driving in a full on ice storm up here in the dakotas is less stressfull.
