Today was the Capay Valley Almond Festival ( prounounced amand in these parts). Big day for bikers and classic car folks to knock the dust off and get out. We stopped at the Capay Valley Vineyards. The owner, Tom Fredrick, was kind enough to give us a quick tour of their Champagne bottling line which will be used for the first time tomorrow. Lots of beautiful stainless equipment. On the way out I stopped to capture the beauty of the area even when overcast and chilly. My wife stayed bundled in the car.
