sun visors

I don't believe BE's came with sun visors.

I use a tight fitting ball cap and sunglasses.

Don't remember seeing or reading about aftermarket sun visors for a Bugeye. Certainly possible, but they'd likely be quite rare on the ground.

Amco manufactured all kinds of sports car accessories like shift knobs, center consoles, ashtrays and sun visors like those shown on the Midget below:

You might find some used ones on ebay, but the chances are slim. A lot of Cobra kit cars use some that look similar to the Amco product like these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sunvisors-...-Replica-/351033277310?_trksid=p2054897.l4275 but I'd check first on the width to make sure they are not too long for the Sprite. Depending on how much effort you wanted to put into it, you could buy the Cobra replica ones for the hinges and have some tinted plexiglass cut to the appropriate Sprite size.

I have a set of plastic sun visors. they are made for cars where you attach them to the regular sun visors. They help a little but not much. Quit using them. Now I just try not to drive facing west when the sun is going down.

I've always used full mesh ball caps. The full mesh lets the air blow through and therefore stay on far better. Even sunvisors on a car can't do as good a job as a ball cap and dark glasses.

Kurt.
