Su carbs for a Metropolitan?

Anybody ever put H2 SUs on a (MGA 1500) Metropolitan? It has an OEM Zenith carb but I know SUs better than I'll ever understand Zenith carbs.
Looking for an intake/exhaust manifold that has (I think H2) SUs on it.

Upgrade the engine to MG spec or leave the carb alone. You need H4 carbs (1.5") for an MGA engine. But you also need an MG head or to do a lot of porting work on a Metro head, plus cam, compression etc.
