New rings, bearings, gaskets & seals. Just a freshen-up. The head and VC was already painted GM blue when I bought it, so I went with it for the rest.

I did find I had to remove the heater box for clearance. Getting the trans mount over the crossmember was fun and a surprise. For a first time Midget engine/trans stab alone it went rather easy. The load leveler helped, as did the frame jack under the diff.

Well done.

Brave soul!! I would have placed some padding around the engine bay!! Good job!!!

a squirt of starter fluid will let

The leveler is what was threatening the heater box. It's almost as long as the engine!

Glad that's cleared up 'cause I'm about to install my heater.

Put it in Tony, does not conflict with the engine or tranny.
