hey I know I've been asking alot lately but I have recently rebuilt my stromburg carb and its running good but my car is now the hardest thing to start. I know I have a topic about battery cut off switch so no one could steal it but thats to do later. I could leave the key in the ignition with the doors open and a sign on top saying if you can start my car in under 5 min the MGB is yours and I'd have it forever. I've sat in my car for 15 min before trying to start it. all the timing marks are lined up on the choke and it still wont hardly start. any one had problems like this before?or know what to do? I really don't want to buy a manual choke. not right now atleast. But once I get it to start It runs so well. I just dont want to turn it off. any one with an answer? Thanks -Adam
 
The good news is that you're not the first to ask this question. The bad news, is several of us would argue that the best answer might be the conversion from automatic choke to manual.

you really need to know Tony. He is the Eastern US Mg parts king and salvage yard. It's worth your time just to walk through his garage, as far as MGs go, he has one of each. If you haven't checked it out, his website isthe Autoist
