Here are some photos from back when I decided to rebuild my Zenith. Car ran a lot better after that but I have a couple of questions. In the first picture there is a connection (has the 1/4" fuel line that runs out of sight) to the charcoal canister. I discovered that if I pinch this hose off the car will not run. I can get it to start after a little while but then it just stalls out. My question is, could this be the port that provides the reference signal to the lower section of the diaphragm? Anyway, in the second picture, I found a mystery connection that I never knew about. The connection was professionally capped with a piece of hose an a screw...lol. I capped it for now but was wondering if anyone knew where this was supposed to go? What got me started on all of this was the fact that I noticed my anti run on valve wasn't connected to anything. Then later I noticed that it didn't matter because it is open all the time anyway or so it would seem since I can blow through it with it taken off the car.
