Stromberg Needle ID

Okay, evidently these aren't the early model Strombergs that would have been right for the car. I'm not too worried about it, but they desperately need new needles, and the ones that are supposed to fit do not.

From the carb itself, it's an adjustable model, so I'm guessing it's from a later GT6 carb, but Victoria British lists two different adjustable needles, one for up to 71 and one for 72 and 73 only. Is there anyway to tell what I need?

Also for bonus points, the way to remove the seat isn't obvious, any ideas there?

I also posted this in the Triumph section, since these came off of a GT6, but I'm not 100% sure they started off on one. It is a Stromberg CDSE though.

Mystery solved! The needle in the second carb was almost brand new, and stamped readably "B5CF", so it looks like it's a later CDSE from a Mk III.
