Strangeness at Windsor

Left hand drive and electric powered apparently!

“Wanted: Duchess of Sussex with E-type. If interested, please send specifications of E-type.”

Voiceover said 1968? I thought that year was when they stopped using the Perspex headlamp covers? I s'pose Euro-version kept them. *shrug*

Correct - the last year of the glass-covered headlights (and it was glass, not Perspex) was 1967 - the year of my Etype. That was also the last year of the Tripple SU carbs (after 67 they went to the dual Strombergs). I have my glass covers in a very well padded box in a very safe place! If I ever broke one I'd probably need to mortgage the house to buy a replacement.
