Just came across a picture of this rather strange looking vehicle, supposedly from 1943/WW2.

To any military vehicle buffs... What exactly is this? What it is used for?

Just merely on a quest to cram more useless facts into my head...

UXB disposal team vehicle?

I've no clue, just throwin' out a guess.

Strange looking beastie isn't it... That didn't take long to figure out.

@Greg

Now I want one

It has davits! Hang an LBC off the back as a "spare"!!!

Y'ever seen a true-live Florida Cracker use a whip, Dave?

It's ~impressive~.
