"GEOMAGNETIC STORM WARNING: NOAA forecasters say there is an 85% chance of geomagnetic storms on Oct. 30th when a CME is expected to hit Earth's magnetic field. It could be a strong storm, category G3, which means auroras could descend to mid-latitudes--places like Kansas, Nebraska, Oregon, Virginia. The CME's arrival time is uncertain; estimates range from midday on Oct. 30th to the early hours of Oct. 31st. Subscribers to our Space Weather Alert Service will receive a text message when the CME strikes."

Category G3. hmmmmm

Tinfoil hat? I have it directly from the USAF that there are no such things as space aliens!

I know I've posted this before, but I was on duty at the 24th NORAD Block House - standing up on the dais with the Senior Director - the nights that this happened (I was computer maintenance). This account is close but there was more to it than in this account reveals. I was watching the objects on the scope and listening to the controllers talk to the pilots. I remember the pilots reporting that, when they would get close to the targets, the targets would "blink out" so that visual ID could never be made. I witnessed these objects (on the SD and Weapons scopes) do maneuvers that no normal manned craft could possibly do. E.g., Changing altitude several thousand feet in the blink of an eye, changing direction 180° without first slowing down - like a tennis ball bouncing off a wall. A similar incident happened in 1967 in which nuclear missiles were affected: Malmstrom AFB 1967 Event
I have not idea what these objects were or where they were from but I can 100% attest that this incident happened.

Ever see the movie "Frequency" with Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel? It's about an accidental cross-time ham radio incident that connects the Caniezel characters (a cop) with his long-dead father (a firefighter) from 30 years in the past. It's a fun movie as father and son end up working together across the time gap to solve a series of brutal murders that had occurred decades prior.
