Storm early warning system

Puerto Rico sits out here in the middle of Hurricane Alley.
We act as an early warning system for the States.

Usually, if we get something bad, it will grow in size
and smash into north America as a major hurricane.

Today we are getting pounded by yet another "bad thing".

Black-grey/green angry sky, rain coming down in sheets
at 30 mph, massive thunder boomers and lightning.
A few small tornadoes reported. More local flooding
warnings on the TV. Our electric power comes and goes in spurts.

Keep on the look out !!

A very active season so far.

No name. It was tropical 'event' investigation #91. Never developed into anything much. The last track forecast was 2pm Friday, forecasted to hit south Florida Monday afternoon.

There have been quite a few tropical waves coming across as is typical for this time of year. This one just didn't quite mature into anything "organized", at least not yet.

Where inside NOAA can I get to the graphic
you posted? It has better combined info than
mine.

That's typical for this time of year Don. Every few days there's a wave coming across. Sometimes they do something, sometimes not. I constantly have to explain to customers that Florida, the islands, etc, do <span style="font-style: italic">not</span> have incredibly clear blue skies like the photoshopped post-card pictures have.
