He is my favorite of the old time drivers, now that Juan is gone. Sad for the car, but that is the way it goes in motorsport.

My hero too. At Keels and Wheels in 2005, on the 50th anniversary of his Mille Miglia win, he autographed a book for me, Stirling Moss's book of Motorsport, which my father had given me 50 years earlier. In my book, the greatest all-round driver ever.
