Yep - someone's gonna score on that one!

Wow! How was that out there for 48 hours without me spotting it? Oh well. I e-mailed the seller. Let's see where it goes. Is that the sound of a sea gull swooping in to grab another TR8. CA CAW (sea gull sound effect)

Secured. I'll pick it up tomorrow. From the description I got over the phone, it should be a good project. Current owner bought it from the original owner in '83. Been garaged it's whole life. All original 69,000 mile car except for a repaint. Platinum with blue interior, AC and a luggage rack. Only been out of the garage once in the last 5 years. Like a sea gull swooping in stealing some kids sandwich.

I'll just reason with her that this was a great deal. You can use reason with a woman - right? After all, she didn't seem to mind cashing the check I got in the mail today for selling some Rover v8 parts. ----- Who am I kidding? It'll end up at one of my friends houses, or I'll have to say it belongs to someone else and that I'm just working on it. She has a standing offer to me. If I get rid of all of my cars, she'll buy me any car I want - but just one. That Noble 400 had me real tempted, but I figure if I wait just a little longer, I can afford it without selling anything.
