Steve's patrol car?

I'm pretty sure this is the CAR that Steve used to patrol Wolverhampton :encouragement:

If that were his cruiser, he'd still be cruising today.

Good for issuing parking tickets... Not so good for high speed pursuits.

Don't forget the narrow roads with tight bends... There wouldn't have been much that would have outrun it. I wish that I had been driving this, but I'm not that old! Wrong force, as well.

An old neighbour of mine was a retired traffic cop. He told me of the time ford offered them an RS200 to test as a prospective pursuit car. They new it wouldn't be suitable as it couldn't carry enough equipment but they kept it for two weeks anyway. Apparently all the drivers kept arriving earlier and earlier during those two weeks in the hope that they would get it.

This must have been the Coventry police force.
might even be a Triumph bicycle.

(I think I would have preferred a Sunbeam Tiger for "fast pursuit")
