Steering wheel shroud on BE--PITA!

Is there some secret to getting this back on the steering column and screwed into place? What a pain!

Fumbling behind the dash trying to match the screws into the shroud...got to be a better way?

There is, you put it on with the dash partly out. A bit late for that now though.
 
If I were smart I'd know that ahead of time. I learn after I make the mistake.(sometimes)...thanks Jack
 
Lots of carefull work. For crying out loud make sure you have it pointed the right way when you put it on, it will not be fun twice.
 
Be careful they are very brittle and the screw insert will pop out and you could crack the unit. expensive and hard to find.
