Hi all -

For my Austin Atlantic, I need to have the rim on my steering wheel completely restored (it is disintegrating).

I have been considering using Pearlcraft in OZ, but I am having trouble wrapping my mind around the AUD1,000 price tag.

Is there another restorer around (anywhere in the world) that is good, and can get a wheel turned around on a decent schedule?

Don't know...my body man recently redid an early Midget steering wheel for me just to see if we can....it's hanging on the wall right now.

I used pearlcraft and got the wheel back. It is beautiful.

My restored Brooklands on the right and an original MGTD wheel on left....

The latest one I just finished.... 'roasted maple'/'soft maple'

My gosh.
It looks like it belongs on a classic old chris craft boat.
Beautiful
