do i need to revove anything other than the big nut to remove my steering wheel?......mine appears stuck...couldnt pull it off..........z

one big nut in the middle and either a puller or some well placed "thuds" from behind the wheel. that second method works better if the column is off the car.

Put the big nut back on the shaft screw on till it is flush with the end of the shaft. Pull on the wheel and strike the nut flush with a soft faced hammer. Big plastic anti-bounce mallet. Don't get wild. Just pull preetty hard and hit the nut square and solid.

Works EVERY time for me. Anti-Seize in the splines makes the NEXT time a lot easier, too.
