TR6 Steering wheel hub push horn insert

Happy Thanksgiving folks -
Hopefully, this is a correctable problem: Several years ago I purchased a Moto Lita steering wheel and Tourist trophy Hub from Moss Motors. The Hub insert was always been a bit loose (popping out occasionally when the horn was pressed). It has become an ongoing problem (I know, I should have addressed it immediately). The three tabs on the pop out are fine with no wear or breakage. The grooves they snap into are new and unworn. It appears that the tabs simply do not have enough edge to hold. Anyone else have this problem?
Thx,
WIll

I also have a Motolita steering wheel and their hub. I was able to to use the original horn insert with no problems.

If I understand your problem and I am not certain that I do.
I believe the problem is actually with the spring loaded insert/ contact / connector. It is to long for your wheel. On my Moto Lita I shortened the metal contact end of that. You can do this in small increments until the insert stays in place.
Presently you have to much spring forcing the insert up off the wheel.
