I just recently finished the restoration of my TR4A. I like the original wheel but I decided I need more leg room to get out of the car and not embarrass myself. So I bought a steering wheel and hub from Ebay. When I tried to fit it the horn comes on and stays on so I started checking and found that the three (I think) fold-over tabs that holds the "slip ring" in place are not there anymore. It worked with the original wheel (the upholstery shop put the steering wheel on which I had left loose so they could remove it easy). Being loose I think is allowing for unwanted contact and setting off the horn. So is there a way to replace/fix these foldover tabs? I have another issue which concerns the turn signal cancellation clip which fits over the steering shaft. I did not put it back on because I did not know to. I can see the dimples that it secures to but it seems that the light switch is too close and prevents it from slipping on. Also the shaft is not aligned properly so that clip is centered at the 9:00 position. Is the solution to pull out the splined porton where it goes into the first coupler in the engine compartment and turn the shaft? In searching I saw something about 3 screws holding something on the hub which I don't seem to have and I don't see in a parts diagram. Is this something I should have? Thanks for your answers in advance. Bruce
